It all began for us in 1946 when founder, Stanley Allen, after selling bread door to door, opened his first dealership selling used cars on Pacific Coast Highway in Laguna Beach, California. In 1947 Stanley was excited to add the Oldsmobile franchise and shortly thereafter, Cadillac.

After 25 years in beautiful Laguna Beach, Stanley’s son, Dennis, who had joined his father in the family business, moved the dealership to its present location in Laguna Niguel - considered by many as not such a good idea. Of course, time has proven that Dennis was prophetic as South Orange County’s tremendous growth and demographics have created anything but a desolate business environment and in 1972 GMC truck was added to the lineup.

After working with Dennis for many years, his sons, Scott and Mitch, are taking the business to its next incarnation as one of the dominant Cadillac retailers in Southern California. In the family tradition, Allen continues its charitable involvement in the communities its serves with donations to local schools, sports teams and many local charity events.
