AVAILABLE PROGRADE™ TRAILERING SYSTEM
Auto Electric Parking Brake Assist:To help with perfect positioning, after backing up to a trailer hitch in Hitch Guidance with Hitch View,4 Sierra Limited will automatically apply the parking brake when shifting into Park, helping to prevent further movement.
In-Vehicle Trailering App:To help improve your trailering experience, the available In-Vehicle Trailering App19 offers custom trailer profiles, trailer statuses including available tire pressure and temperature monitoring,20 and more. The app is integrated and accessible through Sierra Limited’s Infotainment System.21
Integrated Trailer Brake Controller: This controller now allows drivers to program trailer brake level settings to specific trailer profiles.
AVAILABLE WORLD’S FIRST SIX-FUNCTION GMC MULTIPRO TAILGATE
The available GMC MultiPro Tailgate offers six distinct functions designed to help improve loading, unloading and accessing the cargo box. Available on Sierra 1500 Limited Pro. Standard on Sierra Limited SLE, Elevation, SLT, AT4 and Denali.
- PRIMARY GATE: Open the primary gate using the key fob’s power release from inside the truck or from a button on the gate.
- PRIMARY GATE LOAD STOP: With the primary gate open, the load stop can help prevent items from sliding out of the bed.
- EASY ACCESS: The inner gate folds down for easy access when loading and unloading the bed.
- FULL-WIDTH STEP: After removing the conventional hitch, the inner gate folds into a large step for easy entry and exit from the bed (step holds up to 375 lbs).
- INNER GATE LOAD STOP: The inner gate also includes a load stop to help prevent second-tier items from sliding out of the bed. The inner gate can be disabled to prevent it from being opened when a hitch or other equipment is installed.
To disable or enable inner gate operation, press and hold the upper button for three seconds until the taillamps flash. - INNER GATE WITH WORK SURFACEThe opened inner gate provides a work surface as well as second-tier loading.
